Celebrating Aboriginal culture at NAIDOC Revisited

by | Mar 15, 2022 | Illawarra & Nowra | 0 comments

Pearl Home Care Illawarra & Nowra was honoured to attend NAIDOC Revisited at the Shellharbour Civic Centre on 12 March 2022. As Council had not been able to host a NAIDOC event for the past two years, NAIDOC Revisited provided an opportunity to bring the community together to highlight and celebrate local Aboriginal culture.

Pearl Home Care’s Illawarra & Nowra Managing Director, Louise Primmer (second from left) shared the special day with clients Uncle Mannie, President of the Illawarra Aboriginal Medical Centre (far left), and Uncle Bruce, the first Aboriginal man to play Rugby League for NSW (third from left). Our team are honoured to be working with these remarkable gentlemen.

Pearl Home Care Illawarra & Nowra acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we met and pays respects to elders past and present. We extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
